Privacy Policy for Contract Terminal

Contract Terminal is operated by Precision Decision LLC. This Privacy Policy explains how Contract Terminal collects, uses, stores, and handles information when you use the Contract Terminal application, scanner workspaces, account features, watchlists, tracked setups, saved evidence, event workflows, support tools, and related Contract Terminal pages.

Contract Terminal is an informational options research and analytics tool. It does not provide brokerage services, custody, clearing, trade execution, money-transfer services, or personalized investment advice.

Information We Collect

Account and Authentication Information

If you create an account or sign in, Contract Terminal may store account and authentication records such as:

• your local account identifier;
• your email address, display name, email verification status, and private-relay status when supplied by an authentication provider;
• your sign-in provider and provider account identifier;
• sign-in timestamps and account role or status information;
• pending authentication request records needed to complete sign-in flows.

Contract Terminal supports account sign-in flows through configured authentication providers such as Apple, Google, and email sign-in providers.

Usage, Entitlement, and Scanner Activity

Contract Terminal may store records needed to operate usage limits, account access, and scanner activity, including:

• entitlement state and source;
• usage dates, analysis counts, and remaining-analysis calculations;
• request identifiers;
• ticker symbols or symbol lists submitted to scanners;
• selected scanner or engine keys;
• whether a usage request was accepted and the reason for the decision.

Watchlists, Alerts, and Preferences

If you use watchlists, Contract Terminal may store watchlist names, watchlist order, saved symbols, recent symbol selections, watchlist alerts, alert read/unread and dismissed status, selected watchlist state, and related timestamps. Saved watchlists, alerts, and recent symbols can be associated with your account.

The app may also store UI preferences and workspace state in browser local storage, browser session storage, or session stores. Examples include recently entered symbols, selected workspace mode, selected scanner, chart settings, layout state, theme preference, and recent symbol or detail selections.

Tracked Setups and Saved Research Evidence

When you track a setup, the app may save the exact option contract, associated symbol and engine, the scan-time snapshot, timestamps, open or closed status, notes you enter, and later quote observations. Observation records may include prices, quote timestamps, data source and quality information, and missing or unavailable quote status.

Radar runs may create account-linked snapshots of the symbols and engines checked, qualifying contracts, checks without a qualifying result, incomplete checks, and the data available at the time. Supported research workflows may also save scheduled observation checkpoints, frozen research rules, contract comparisons and resulting observations, including missing results. These records support saved evidence and internal evaluation of the app's research methods. They are research observations and simulated comparisons, not brokerage positions, orders, or executed trades.

Research, Market, News, and Event Data

When you use scanner, chart, event, or symbol-detail features, Contract Terminal may process or cache market and event-related data such as:

• option chains, expiration dates, underlying prices, implied volatility fields, and contract metrics;
• earnings calendar information and earnings-window resolution results;
• public non-earnings event records, source metadata, event dates or estimated windows, confidence scores, source URLs, and affected symbols;
• stock-news article metadata when a configured news provider is used.

The reviewed app code uses Yahoo Finance/yfinance paths for market, price, expiration, and option-chain data; Nasdaq earnings calendar paths and local stored earnings data for earnings-calendar workflows; Finnhub company-news paths when configured for stock-news features; and official or public event-source adapters for supported non-earnings events.

Supported official event data sources include SEC EDGAR, FDA advisory committee pages, ClinicalTrials.gov, Federal Reserve FOMC calendars, BLS calendars, and BEA release-date data. These sources do not endorse Contract Terminal, Precision Decision LLC, or any output produced by the app.

Support and Recommendation Submissions

If you submit feedback, a recommendation, bug report, or support message through the app, Contract Terminal may store the submission type, message, optional ticker symbol, optional contact email, submission source/page, timestamp, and status.

Diagnostics and Logs

Contract Terminal may create server logs, authentication diagnostics, error information, and diagnostic reports needed to operate, secure, debug, and improve the service. Authentication diagnostics are designed to avoid logging secret values.

The reviewed Contract Terminal app code does not show advertising analytics. This statement is limited to the reviewed app code and does not make a claim about analytics or tracking that may exist elsewhere on the broader Precision Decision LLC website.

Payment Information

Purchase and restore availability depends on the app build and configured app-store services. A displayed plan or purchase control does not itself complete a purchase or grant paid access.

When an enabled app-store purchase or restore flow is used, Contract Terminal may process signed transaction information to verify access. Verification records may include an account-binding identifier, transaction identifiers or their hashes, product or plan information, app and app-store environment information, purchase and expiration dates, refund or revocation status, and notification identifiers. These records are used to associate verified purchases with the correct account, determine access, and prevent duplicate or invalid transaction processing.

Contract Terminal does not collect payment card numbers in the reviewed app code. If paid subscriptions or purchases are enabled through an app store or payment processor, that provider may collect and process payment information under its own terms and privacy policy.

How We Use Information

Contract Terminal uses information to:

• create, authenticate, and manage user accounts;
• operate scanner workspaces, Events workflows, Earnings workflows, watchlists, alerts, charts, tracked setups, saved evidence, and support tools;
• enforce usage limits and entitlement states and verify supported app-store purchases;
• show saved watchlists, recent symbols, tracked contracts, observations, selected settings, and app preferences;
• evaluate research methods using saved and scheduled observations;
• detect, prevent, and troubleshoot errors, misuse, unauthorized access, and security issues;
• respond to support, feedback, and recommendation submissions;
• maintain public event records, source attribution, and source revision history;
• comply with applicable legal obligations and protect the rights, safety, and security of users and Precision Decision LLC.

When Information Is Shared

Contract Terminal may share or transmit information only as needed to operate the service, including:

• with configured authentication providers to complete sign-in and account-management flows;
• with configured market, news, or event-data providers when a feature requires a data request, such as a symbol, option-chain, price-history, news, earnings, or public event-source request;
• with an app store or payment processor if paid subscriptions or purchases are enabled;
• with service providers that host, store, secure, or help operate the application;
• when required by law, legal process, security needs, or to protect rights and safety.

Contract Terminal does not provide brokerage, custody, clearing, trade execution, or money-transfer services.

Data Retention

Contract Terminal retains information as needed to provide the service, maintain account and usage records, operate saved features, preserve source attribution and event records, resolve issues, support security and diagnostics, and comply with applicable obligations.

Retention may vary by data type, feature, source, backup, security need, dispute, and legal or operational requirement. This policy does not promise a fixed retention period.

Account Deletion

Signed-in users can request account deletion from the Account page in the app. On successful account deletion, the app removes account-linked records from its operational stores, including local account and sign-in provider records, usage and entitlement records, saved watchlists and recent symbols, watchlist alerts, saved layouts, tracked setups and their notes and observations, saved Radar and scheduled research records, associated payment-verification transaction records, and saved recommendation submissions.

If configured and applicable, Contract Terminal also attempts to remove the upstream authentication user and revoke Apple sign-in access associated with the account. The app reports when local deletion is complete but upstream authentication deletion could not be completed.

Limited identifiers or hashes and deletion markers may remain to prevent delayed research jobs or purchase notifications from recreating deleted account state or reusing a purchase binding. Deletion may not remove records that are not tied to the account, public or official event-source records, provider-controlled records, server logs, backups, legal records, or records retained for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, compliance, or similar obligations.

Deleting a Contract Terminal account does not automatically cancel an external subscription or purchase. Any external subscription must be managed through the applicable app store or payment processor.

Age Requirement

You must be at least 18 years old or the age of majority in your location, whichever is higher, to use Contract Terminal.

Security

Contract Terminal uses reasonable technical and organizational measures intended to protect the service and user information. No system can be guaranteed to be perfectly secure, and no transmission or storage method is risk-free.

Changes to This Policy

Precision Decision LLC may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updated versions will be posted with a new Last updated date.
